Preparing Macintosh Files for a Custom Hybrid Disc
To prepare Macintosh files for a Custom Hybrid CD:
1Collect the Macintosh data on a computer volume (hard disk, temporary partition, hard partition, etc.). If you have enough space available, you create a temporary partition to hold the Macintosh files. (For more information, see Creating a Temporary Partition.) This volume should contain:
Files and folders that will be visible only on the Macintosh computer
Files and folders you want both the Macintosh and ISO PCs to read. Referred to as the "shared data," these files will be written to the CD only once, as part of the Macintosh volume you prepare.
You can arrange the data in any way, and the shared data may be located anywhere in the directory structure of the Macintosh volume. Be aware that the arrangement is copied exactly to the Macintosh part of the Custom Hybrid CD.
Note: The Macintosh volume will be copied exactly to the disc, including window sizes, positions, and View menu settings. Be sure to prepare the volume accordingly.
2 Work with the files in the ISO 9660 window (optional). The ISO 9660 window allows you to have more control over the behavior of your Custom Hybrid CD.
